Privacy policy.
1. Introduction
Knack Group Global LLC ("Knack Group Global," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.knack.group (the "Site"), how we use it, and the rights you have in relation to that information. We design our practices to support applicable U.S. privacy laws—including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA ("CCPA/CPRA")—and, where relevant, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
2. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
- Name, e-mail address, telephone number, and company (contact forms)
- Résumé/CV content, employment history, education, LinkedIn URL, and other job-application details
- Any information you include in messages sent via contact forms, privacy-rights forms, or e-mail
b. Information collected automatically
- Standard server and security logs that may include IP address, browser type, and request metadata needed to operate and protect the Site
- We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels or analytics cookies on the Site
c. Information from third parties — If you apply through, or your data is imported into, our applicant-tracking system ("ATS"), we may receive additional profile information consistent with this Policy and our internal recruiting processes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process personal data to:
- Review, assess, and manage your job application or candidacy;
- Contact you about this application and other roles that may be relevant to your background;
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the Site;
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our rights.
Where GDPR applies, we typically rely on: (i) steps prior to a contract / our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment business for applications and related contact; (ii) our legitimate interests in securing and operating the Site; and (iii) consent where you expressly agree on a form. You may withdraw consent or object where applicable by using our Privacy Choices form.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share it only with:
- Service providers (hosting, database, e-mail delivery, and our ATS infrastructure) bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Legal or regulatory authorities to comply with law or protect rights/safety;
- Successors in interest in case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice and choices where required).
5. Retention
We retain website applications, related candidate records, and contact inquiries indefinitely while they remain relevant to our recruiting operations, unless you request deletion (or applicable law requires a shorter period). When you submit a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify personal data we no longer need to keep for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.
6. Data Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards—encryption in transit (HTTPS), access-control restrictions, and monitored hosting—but no Internet transmission is completely secure.
7. Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and similar laws)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, restrict or object to certain processing of, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for advertising). California residents may also have rights regarding sensitive personal information and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise any right, use our Privacy Choices form at www.knack.group/privacy-choices or e-mail hello@knack.group. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within statutory timeframes (generally 30–45 days). You may authorize an agent to submit a request where permitted by law.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site currently uses only technologies that are necessary to deliver pages securely and operate core features (for example, hosting and security). We do not set advertising or analytics cookies today. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, present consent choices before those technologies run.
9. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site or submit information from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection rules. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards with our service providers.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to external sites (e.g., LinkedIn). We are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend reviewing their policies.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services target adults seeking employment or business relationships. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 (or under 13 where that is the applicable standard). If we learn we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by e-mail when legally required. The "Last Updated" date below will change accordingly. Where forms record a Privacy Policy version, that version reflects the text you accepted at submission.
